Subverse Aphrodesia

Subverse Aphrodesia provides theatrical production and general writing support in the greater Scranton area. Founded informally in July 1999 by Alicia Grega as an umbrella for her freelance endeavors, specialities include: playwrighting and dramaturgy, artistic coaching and consulting, public relations, visual design, concept marketing, editing, project troubleshooting, event production, arts journalism and photography.    The company is particularly invested in the development of innovative new works, artistic experiments and community collaborations, and also offers a line of handmade fashion/lifestyle merchandise.Recent projects include Steamtown Vaudeville, CineSect, and the Jason Miller Playwrights' Project.

    The Olde Brick Theatre

    The intimate 75-seat theater is operated by Scranton Public Theatre and is also home to the Jason Miller Playwrights' Project. Additional programs include classes, film screenings, and special events.
